Wait List is Now Open!


Riverview Terrace consists of 115 one-bedroom apartments in a 10-story apartment building.  Occupancy is limited to those persons who are considered low income, 62 years of age or older and/or disabled persons, according to the Social Security Act.  Riverview Terrace opened in 1977. Security Deposit is equal to one (1) month’s rent.  All utilities are included except for a $25.00 monthly charge for cable (expanded basic), telephone hookup and related charges.

You are not required to reside in our area to apply for housing at Riverview Terrace.


Applicants must be at least 62 years of age or older and/or disabled according to the Social Security Act. You must meet the income guidelines:

One Person  $23,100                        Two Persons $26,400


Monthly rent is equal to or less than 30% of a residents adjusted monthly income.  Income includes wages, social security, SSI, pension, unemployment, interest income, etc. Adjustments may be given for medical expenses that exceed 3% of the total household income.

Lawn and Apartment Maintenance, Fitness Room, Library, On-site laundry facilities, In-house newsletter, Regular Cross Town Bus Stop nearby, Located near shopping, restaurants and entertainment

  1. I sure hope I can get in before my house sells…I hate having to wonder if I will only have 30 days to move…I am alone and it will be difficult for me to find some one to help me with the heavy stuff…smile…and before winter sets in for these old bones….lol

    1. Please contact our office if you have any questions. We cannot predict how fast a wait list moves, so any emergency services for housing would need to be addressed with Goodwill or NMCAA.
